Facel Vega Defilee in Schwetzingen

From September 5–7, 2025, the baroque palace gardens of Schwetzingen will transform into a grand stage for automotive culture: At the Classic-Gala Schwetzingen (Int. Concours d’Elegance), together with the Amicale Facel Véga, a unique défilé of seven Facel Vega models will be presented – including the FV3, Excellence, HK 500, Facellia F2, and Facel II.

The French marque FACEL Vega wrote automotive history between 1954 and 1964. In just one decade, only about 2,900 cars were produced – masterpieces that combined French elegance, luxury, and glamour with the power of American Chrysler V8 engines.

It is no wonder that celebrities such as Pablo Picasso, Ringo Starr, and Ava Gardner were proud owners. Models like the Excellence or the legendary HK 500 became true icons, often described as “the second-best car in the world after Rolls-Royce.”
